Am I a woman? No. Next...

Guess who? or Who am I?

In this game, each player wears a card with a name on their forehead. The other players answer their questions with “yes” or “no” until they guess their identity. The goal is to figure out: who am I?

Game description

Players write the name of a famous person on a sticky note and place it on another player’s forehead. Each player will then ask closed-ended questions to the others, who will all answer the questions together with yes or no. Who will guess the most characters?

Necessary accessories

- Sticky notes and pens.
- The cherry on top: something to keep the sticky notes on the forehead (like a headband, for example).

End of the game

The game ends when the first player manages to guess 5 or 10 characters.

Procedure

  1. Decide the number of characters to guess to win. You can start with 5 and increase later.
  2. Each player writes down the names of as many different characters as needed to win the game (e.g., 5) on sticky notes.
  3. Each player gives their stack of sticky notes to the player on their left.
  4. Choose who will start (using rock-paper-scissors, for example).
  5. Each player sticks a sticky note on their forehead without seeing the name on it. (No cheating !)
  6. The player chosen to start begins by asking their questions.
  7. The questions must be yes-or-no questions, and the other players answer only with “yes” or “no”.
  8. As long as the player gets “yes” answers, they continue asking questions.
  9. On the first “no” answer, the turn passes to the player on their left (or right, if preferred).
  10. Once a player guesses the character on their forehead, they set the sticky note aside and get a new one on their forehead. They can continue asking questions about this new sticky note
