Game description

In this game, two teams of 5 to 10 players each wear stockings on their heads with a ball attached at the end. The goal is to swing the ball to knock over cups.

 Guaranteed laughter 🙂

Necessary Accessories

- One pair of stockings per team
- One tennis ball per team
- About 10 paper cups per team (plastic cups can be used as a substitute)

End of the game

The winning team is the first team whose members have knocked over all the cups.

Process

  1. Form two teams of 5 to 10 people.
  2. Each team is provided with a pair of stockings and a tennis ball.
  3. A referee is appointed to give the start signal and keep score.
  4. Set up a row of cups in front of each team, spaced one meter apart.
  5. The first player puts the tennis ball into the foot of the stocking and places the stocking on their head. It’s up to you to decide if the stocking stops at the forehead or covers the whole face.
  6. At the start signal, the player, with hands behind their back, swings the ball to knock over each cup.
  7. Once all cups are knocked over, the player returns, removes the stocking, and gives it to the next player.
  8. A helper sets the cups back up for the next player
  9. The next player starts only after the stocking is properly on their head.
  10. The game continues until all team members have taken their turn. Hurry, hurry, hurry—the whole team must finish before the opponents!

Game Variations

First variation

You can have the 2 teams go one after the other and keep time with a stopwatch. This ensures that everyone gets a turn. Without this, some members of the losing team might never get a chance to play. And surely, it would be a shame not to see everyone with that lovely stocking on their head 😛

Second variation

Are there many of you? That's not a problem, make 3, 4, 5, or even 10 teams of 5 to 12 people, the more the merrier ! 🙂

Rank the best teams and, why not, spice up the game with a dare for the losing team?
